Micromax launches Canvas Tab P470 in India for INR 6,999

Micromax has announced the launch of a new Android tablet in its Canvas line-up on Friday. Dubbed as Canvas Tab P470, the new tablet has been priced at INR 6,999 and will go on sale in stores starting December 20, 2015.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 features a 7-inch IPS display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 and 3200 mAh battery. In addition, Micromax has pre-loaded support for 21 languages on the device, same as the company has been doing with some of its smartphones.
On the imaging front, Canvas Tab packs a 5MP rear camera and a 3MP front shooter. The tablet also comes with dual-SIM support, 3G and the usual set of connectivity options.

Registrations open for Micromax-owned Yu’s Yureka phone

The registrations for the Micromax-owned Yu’s Yureka phone have been opened at Amazon India. Amazon has also revealed that the consumers, who will register for the first Yureka sale will be able to order the phone on January 13 at 2PM IST. The phone carries a price-tag of INR 8,999 and will be available in Moonstone Grey colour option. The consumers, who register before Dec 25 for the sale, will also get a free leather back cover with their Yureka purchase.
