Indian Mobile No. + Aadhaar Link : Know in details
Read the below lines carefully
- Make sure your Aadhaar no. has a registered mobile no.. If not then register your mobile no. at any Aadhaar enrollment center. From December 1, 2017 you can link Aadhaar to your mobile no. in your home. You will receive an OTP to verify.
- There is no way to link Aadhaar to your mobile no. online. So, if you go across any link over the internet, just ignore.
- Last date of linking is 6th February, 2018.
- For re verification, you don't need to carry any documents. Just remember your Aadhaar no. and don't share with public.
- For senior citizens or any person with disability, they can link at their doorstep. They just need to inform the telecom operator or through India NIC website which will be shared on TSB as soon as the service gets started.
- The Aadhaar linking is totally free.
- If you are having more no. of mobile no.s, then all the mobile no.s must be be linked with Aadhaar and biometric verification is required for each of them.
- If you are doing this through a agent, then your details will not be shown to the person. It will get verified using your fingerprint.
- If you are a JIO User and registered with Aadhaar no., then you won't need to do Aadhaar linking.
