Report : LG to announce Flex 2 at CES 2015 next week

LG is reportedly planning to introduce the successor to its first curved-screen smartphone G Flex at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 next week. According to a report in Korean publication Naver
, the phone will be dubbed as G Flex 2.
The report also adds that that the smartphone will come with Tri-band LTE-A connectivity, which was first included in the recently-announced Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE smartphone. LG G Flex 2 will be the second commercially available phone to pack the technology.
In addition, LG G Flex 2 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, making it the first real 64-bit Android smartphone. Other manufactures have already introduced smartphones with 64-bit processors, but none of them include OS-level support for 64-bit computing, rendering the 64-bit tag useless. The display details are a mystery at this point, but it is expected to be curved.
As per a recent report, LG G Flex 2 will be initially released in South Korea with LG U+’s upcoming Tri-band LTE-A network. There is no word on the pricing or exact availability, but we hope to hear more from LG at the CES press event.
